Welcome to the World of MOMA
This wiki is the online home of the wikimoma community arts project.
The project enables participants to experiment & explore their own creativity within a fictional narrative
about an island, it's world famous museum and the airline that flies you there.

A unique & ambitious Project
Wikimoma aims to be as inclusive & as accessible as possible. Therefore, it is broad in scope and incorporates all creative modalities & forms.
In particular though, wikimoma experiments with the integration of:
- game making & playing
- arts & crafts: making and sharing
- multi-media story telling
- digital creativity & simulation
The creative output of the wikimoma community arts project takes the following forms:
- hybrid games (think table top role-playing, LARP, card games, open-world digital simulation, cosplay, etc)
- iterations of the Museum of Moving Art (MOMA) - physical & digital
- artworks for MOMA
- stories (last but not least)
These, together, can be considered a composite artwork.

A Portal for Flight Simulation is born
Rose has been reworking earlier material and conceived of Virtual Aviation 4 Serious Funsters - a portal for Flight Simmers,
to enable them to fly into the fictional world of the MOMA hybrid game. See the recent developments here.
The 1st 'Playful Creative' event is a roaring success!
About 12 people attended an all abilities, all ages and queer friendly social event at the Newlands Neighbourhood House on 21st July. The full story here.
So what about Game Theory?
In regards to integrating game-making and playing into community arts practice, let's take a look at Game Theory. This video is super informative and inspirational. Interestingly, game theory computer models have shown that small islands of positivity spread and win over time :-)

Work has begun on The Peopling of Fafifi ... the story of how a new society evolved on an island in the South Pacific. (co-ordinates 24°59'60.0"S 159°59'60.0"E).
