A Board Game

3 people at a table play a board game

A table-top role playing board game (first called "Fly Air Fafifi") is currently under active development and the Playful Creative crew is now game-testing it. The earlier versions had been previously tested at several Cafe Collab events held at the Catalyst Social Centre in Coburg - with players really enjoying it and giving lots of useful feedback.

New Revision Currently Underway

As a result of more participation through the Playful Creative event being held monthly at the Newlands Neighbourhood House, a new collaborator has come forward - Philip. Philip is a writer and drawn to the story-telling elements of the table-top board game. Rose and Philip have begun meeting to continue revising and improving the game so that it can again be played and tested. We're working on the mechanics and integrating the building up of fantasy world discovery while simultaneously developing characters in Level 1 of the game.

Working Title

The working title of the new revision is "Flight Mode: Fly To Fafifi".

The title "Flight Mode" represents the potential set of games that can be developed using the Game Board. Whereas, "Fly to Fafifi" represents a particular iteration of the game that we are currently developing. This first game introduces players to the MOMA story world and the Island of Fafifi.
